Mislinja Valley is one of the three valleys in Koroška (Carinthia), where life in the past centuries was different. The gift of the past is the unique heritage that we preserve and nurture. We invite you to Slovenj Gradec, where you can observe and enjoy the natural and cultural beauties that we take pride in. You can experience an adrenaline adventure, or get to know the way of life of people in rural areas.

The Church of the St. George at Legen is a unique archaeological monument.

At Kope, Pohorje, you can spend your free time in nature, take a walk through the Pohorje forests, stop at energy points, or have a picnic or lunch at the cabin Partizanski dom.

The stories of the old town’s centre will take you back to the medieval past. You will learn about the rich historical and cultural heritage. In the Gallery and Museum Perger you can meet the gingerbread and candle maker heritage of the Perger family. You can try the delicacies from the surrounding farms.

Medieval Slovenj Gradec

Arrival in Slovenj Gradec, greeting by tourist guide and the sightseeing of the town's centre of Slovenj Gradec, with its medieval design (The Church of St. Elisabeth, The Church of Holy Spirit, Carinthian Gallery of Fine Arts and Carinthian Regional Museum). The animators wearing medieval costumes will take you to the medieval time of the town.
A stop at one of the town’s cafes in the centre.
A visit of the House of masterpiece Perger 1757. The visitors are taken to the world of gingerbread hearts, wax candles and gingerbread. They serve with homemade candies and non-alcoholic meadows.
A ride to Legen and sightseeing of the Church of St. George, with the Slavonic remains of the graves from the 10th century under the church's glass floor.
Culinary delights and departure.

Informative price (for a group of at least 20 people): 29€

In the memorial museum of composer Hugo Wolf, you will learn about the life and work of the genius master of solos. A visit to Herčeva saw and mill will bring you back to the old mill industry . You can try the delicacies from the surrounding farms.

The Fruits of Countryside

Arrival in Slovenj Gradec, greeting by tourist guide and sightseeing of the town's centre of Slovenj Gradca, with its medieval design (The Church of St. Elisabeth, The Church of Holy Spirit, the Hugo Wolf Memorial Museum).
a) A ride to Šmartno. A short hike to Herčeva saw, the sightseeing of the saw and the mill, the demonstration of old crafts and the foretaste of local delicacies at one of the local farms.
A visit one of the farms with tasting, help with farm work (depending on the season).
Dinner at one of the tourist farms and departure.
b) A ride to Sele and lunch. Sightseeing of the Church of St. Rok, Meško’s room, one of the farms and a hike along the Meško’s path or the Roman path.

After a short walk through the forest you arrive at the Land of Dwarves, where you can listen to and enjoy the stories about mythical creatures. After a well-deserved refreshment you can spice up the day with an adrenaline jump into the valley.

Pohorje Forests

Arrival at Kope and a welcome drink in the cabin Partizanski dom and a typical breakfast.
A hike through the forest to the energy points.
Arrival on Pungart: a round of Disc Golf or a short hike to Črni vrh or Ribniška jezera lakes.
Afterwards a picnic in the nature in front of Grmovškov dom.
